Virtual Roundtable with North Dakota Agriculture Producers

On Wednesday morning, Hoeven, who serves as chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee, will discuss with North Dakota producers, commodity groups and Farm Service Agency (FSA) officials the progress of the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) and gather input on the next phase of the federal response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency. This comes as part of the senator’s continued efforts to support farmers and ranchers and ensure the U.S. Department of Agriculture has the funding it needs to mitigate the long-term impacts of COVID-19 on producers.
