USPS Grand Forks Roundtable

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – On Monday, August 26, Senator John Hoeven will hold a roundtable with U.S. Postal Service (USPS) Minnesota-North Dakota District Manager Angela Bye and Midwest Processing Division Director Kathy Hand to discuss proposed changes to regional mail processing and efforts to improve mail service across North Dakota. This is the first meeting of its kind for USPS and comes as the result of Hoeven’s efforts with Postmaster General Louis DeJoy and Bye calling for the Postal Service to meet with the community, be transparent on any planned changes and answer questions.

The meeting will also serve as a follow-up to the final audit issued by the USPS Inspector General for the Minnesota-North Dakota District, which was expanded to cover all of North Dakota at the request of Hoeven and the state’s congressional delegation.
