Trade Assistance & Farm Bill Implementation Roundtable

FARGO, N.D. – On Monday, August 5, Senator John Hoeven, chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee and a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, will hold a roundtable with Farm Service Agency (FSA) Administrator Richard Fordyce and North Dakota producers in Fargo to outline the administration’s latest round of trade assistance, which includes $14.5 billion of Market Facilitation Program (MFP) payments, as well as farm bill implementation. Hoeven worked with USDA and the White House to secure funding for additional assistance. Following the roundtable, Hoeven and Fordyce will visit the Haggert Farm in Emerado.
