Souris River Basin/Minot Meeting with Army Corps of Engineers

On Wednesday, Hoeven will host a meeting in Fargo with Lieutenant General Thomas P. Bostick, U.S. Army Chief of Engineers and Commanding General of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), who oversees most of the country's civil works infrastructure and military construction. Major General Michael Wehr, USACE - Mississippi Valley Division and Colonel Dan Koprowski, USACE - St. Paul District will also be in attendance, along with Senator Heitkamp and Mayor Chuck Barney.

The meeting will focus on damages that occurred during the flooding of 2011, changes to hydrology within the Basin since 2011 and a Corps Feasibility Study.
