Sky Range Announcement & Community Engagement Discussion

On Wednesday, August 24, Senator John Hoeven and Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) Director George Rumford will be joined by federal, state and local officials as well as leaders from Northrop Grumman and General Atomics, among others, to hold a press conference at Grand Sky to announce the latest development in the Sky Range program. As a member of the Senate Defense Appropriations Committee, Hoeven has worked to establish the Sky Range program at Grand Sky, where TRMC will convert Global Hawk aircraft for use in hypersonic missile testing. The announcement will be followed by a community engagement event at Minnkota Power to discuss the benefits of the Sky Range program.
