Roundtable with Fargo-Moorhead Region Leaders to Outline WIFIA Financing for Flood Protection

Senator John Hoeven will hold a press conference and roundtable with Fargo-Moorhead region leaders to outline the recently-announced invitation to apply for a $510 million Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) loan for comprehensive flood protection. Hoeven worked as a member of the Senate Energy and Water Development Appropriations Committee to ensure the region could benefit from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) loan program, which will serve as a low-cost, flexible funding source that will significantly reduce the long-term expenses of the project.
