Review Red River Valley Inlet Construction

Senator Hoeven, along with Commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ St. Paul District Col. Karl Jansen, Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney and Moorhead Mayor Johnathan Judd, will be on site to view the construction of the inlet and control structure for the Red River Valley’s flood protection project. The site visit will kick off with a media availability and occur during a 500 cubic yard concrete pour. As a member of the Senate Energy and Water Development Appropriations Committee, Hoeven is working to ensure adequate funding to keep construction moving forward, having secured $100 million for the project in the Army Corps’ Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 work plan.
