Opening of New Indian Police Academy in North Dakota

On October 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM CDT, Senator John Hoeven, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs and a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, will host federal, state and tribal officials, including Governor Doug Burgum and Adjutant General Alan Dohrmann, at the opening of the U.S. Indian Police Academy Advanced Training Center and Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony in Camp Grafton, North Dakota. Hoeven recently announced that he secured $2.5 million to hold law enforcement specialized training courses at Camp Grafton to help address law enforcement needs in Indian Country.
