NDSU Back-to-School Roundtable

Senator Hoeven will hold a roundtable discussion with NDSU and North Dakota National Guard officials, including President Dean Bresciani and Adjutant General Alan Dohrmann, to outline federal funds provided under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act to support students safely returning to school this fall, as well as his efforts to restore full education benefits for members of the National Guard. Hoeven recently announced that the Department of Defense is working with the Department of Veterans Affairs to enable Guard and Reserve members to concurrently use Federal Tuition Assistance and their GI Bill benefits to fund their education, similar to active duty servicemembers.
