Mandan Agriculture Assistance Roundtable

As chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee and a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, Hoeven will hold a roundtable to outline his work to secure agriculture assistance, including funding to help develop new foreign markets for U.S. agriculture goods, as well as food purchases for organizations like food pantries and school nutrition programs, which will help bolster commodity prices. Hoeven will also highlight Japan’s recent decision to open its markets to U.S. cattle products and stress the need to approve the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement and finalize trade negotiations with China and Japan.
