Hoeven to Outline Grand Forks Air Base UAS Leadership with USAF Secretary Wilson at Re-Designation Ceremony

Senator John Hoeven will join U.S. Air Force Secretary Heather Wilson to announce the re-designation of the Air Reconnaissance Wing at the Grand Forks Air Force Base (GFAFB). The senator will outline his efforts to provide increased funding and support to upgrade the Global Hawk operations at GFAFB. Establishing the base as the lead in all Global Hawk operations, this marks Grand Forks as a leader in military UAS and further establishes this region as the nation’s proving ground for UAS.
