Grand Opening of Williston Basin International Airport

Senator John Hoeven will offer remarks at the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the Williston Basin International Airport (XWA). As a member of the Senate Transportation, Housing and Urban Development (THUD) Appropriations Committee, Hoeven has secured more than $114 million of the federal government’s share of the cost for the new Williston airport to date. The first airport to be built in the country in the last nine years, this will address the area’s transportation, shipping and aviation demands.
