Grand Opening of Dakota Prairie Refinery in Dickinson

On Monday, June 29, Hoeven, who serves on the U.S. Senate Energy Committee, will participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the Grand Opening of the Dakota Prairie Refinery in Dickinson. The refinery is designed to process 20,000 barrels of locally-sourced Bakken crude oil per day, and is the nation’s first greenfield refinery since 1976. Hundreds are scheduled to attend, including Mayor Dennis Johnson, various City and County Commissioners, employees and their families.
