Fireside Chat with FAA Deputy Admin, DOD Counter-UAS Director at UAS Summit

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – On Tuesday, October 8, Senator John Hoeven will hold a fireside chat at the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Summit with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Deputy Administrator Katie Thomson and Joint Counter-Small UAS Office (JCO) Director Gen. David Stewart. Thomson and Stewart are attending the annual event at Hoeven’s invitation and will join him in discussing new developments that strengthen North Dakota as the most advanced UAS ecosystem in the nation, while growing the state’s role in helping counter threats from the misuse of unmanned aircraft.
