Federal Investment Announcement in Rural Broadband for Western North Dakota

On Thursday, October 29, Senator John Hoeven will join officials from the Dakota Carrier Network (DCN), Reservation Telephone Cooperative and U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development in announcing a federal investment in rural broadband infrastructure for western North Dakota. As chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee, Hoeven has worked to ensure the development of the infrastructure needed to support the state’s growing technology sector. Immediately following the announcement, Hoeven will review a recent addition to DCN’s facilities and discuss increased demands on the state’s broadband infrastructure.
