Burdick Job Corps Summer Graduation

Senator Hoeven will speak at the Burdick Job Corps summer graduation. Job Corps is a vocational training program for disadvantaged youths between the ages of 16 and 24. Hoeven will be addressing Burdick Job Corps’ largest graduating class in the past four years, which is also one of the most involved in the community.

Through his role on the Appropriations Committee, the senator helped provide an additional $21 million in funding for Job Corps and the Minot Burdick Job Corps Center in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 Labor, Health and Human Services (HHS) and Education Appropriations bill.
