Agriculture Disaster Assistance Roundtable

Senator Hoeven will meet with local producers and outline the $7 billion in agriculture disaster assistance that he secured in the Senate’s annual funding legislation. As ranking member of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee, Hoeven is advancing this funding to help farmers and ranchers weather the severe drought impacting much of North Dakota. The legislation was recently approved by the full Senate Appropriations Committee and is awaiting consideration by the full Senate.
