Advisory: Hoeven to Mark Grand Opening of Customs and Border Protection UAS Training Facility

Senator John Hoeven will offer remarks at the grand opening of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) newly-renovated unmanned aerial systems (UAS) training center at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. As a member of the Senate Homeland Security Appropriations committee, Hoeven secured $8 million to keep the CBP training program in the region and worked to identify an appropriate location.
