Hoeven Statement on the Death of Judge Myron Bright

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven today issued this statement following the death of Judge Myron H. Bright, who served on the U.S. Court Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

“Judge Bright served his country for half a century, both in the military during World War II and on the bench, gaining the respect and admiration of people, both regionally and nationally. His judicial roles and awards are too numerous to list, but suffice to say he had an impact on the federal judiciary and the lives of thousands for five decades. Mikey and I extend our condolences to Judge Bright’s family and friends and hope his long, distinguished career will provide comfort at his passing.”
