Hoeven: FEMA Awards $8.5 Million to North Dakota
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Homeland Security Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded $8.5 million to the State of North Dakota. This grant was made available under the Stafford Act and will be used to assist with expenses related to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, including health and safety efforts such as increased testing.
“This funding will support North Dakota’s continued efforts to respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency,” said Hoeven.
