Hoeven Announces Preparedness and Response Funding for North Dakota Department of Health
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) has awarded $1,071,922 to the North Dakota Department of Health for their Hospital Preparedness Program Cooperative Agreement. This funding is in addition to previous funds awarded by the ASPR Hospital Preparedness Program to the North Dakota Department of Health and the North Dakota Hospital Foundation through the CARES Act, and will be used to support preparedness and response activities related to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in the state.
