WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded $22 million in Airport Improvement Program (AIP) supplemental grants to three North Dakota airports, including:
- Hector International Airport in Fargo – $10 million for apron construction.
- Watford City Municipal Airport – $10 million for runway construction.

“Airports and other transportation infrastructure are essential to our economy and quality of life, which is why we’ve continued to prioritize funding projects like these,” Hoeven said. “Today’s awards will help ensure the airports in Fargo, Watford City and Hillsboro can meet local demand and maintain the safety of travelers.”
