Senator John Hoeven Statement on Independence Day 2017

BISMARCK, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven today issued the following statement in commemoration of our nation’s independence:

“Today we celebrate the many freedoms with which we have been blessed. Our independence would not exist without the courage and sacrifices of our forefathers, veterans and service men and women who have answered the call to serve our nation. Their efforts have ensured that we and our descendants can experience the fullest measures of liberty. We extend our deepest thanks to them. Mikey and I wish all North Dakotans a safe and happy Independence Day.”
