Hoeven Statement on President's Supreme Court Nominee

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven released the following statement today after the President nominated Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to serve as an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court of the United States. 

“I believe we need Supreme Court Justices who are committed to upholding the law and that do not try to legislate from the bench,” said Hoeven. “As the confirmation process gets underway, we look forward to meeting with Judge Jackson and thoroughly reviewing her judicial record and philosophy.”
