Hoeven Statement on Announced Retirement of ND House Majority Leader Pollert
BISMARCK, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven today issued the following statement after North Dakota House Majority Leader Chet Pollert announced his intention to retire from the state legislature.
“Majority Leader Pollert has been a dedicated public servant, not only for his district in Carrington, but our entire state. We appreciate his more than two decades of hard work to improve North Dakotans’ quality of life, including his longstanding efforts to ensure individuals and families throughout the state have adequate access to health care. Further, the leadership he has provided as House Majority Leader has helped our state navigate a range of challenges in recent years. We thank him for his dedication, and wish the whole Pollert family the best in whatever the future brings.”
