Hoeven Statement in Observance of 80th Anniversary of D-Day

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven today issued the following statement commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

“Today, on the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we honor our U.S. servicemembers and the Allied forces who valiantly and heroically fought on behalf of freedom and liberty around the world,” said Hoeven. “There is no way to repay the debt we owe to all those who served and the many who gave their lives during the invasion of Normandy, and we must never forget their sacrifice.”
