Hoeven Statement Honoring Farmers and Ranchers At Start of National Ag Week

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee and a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, today issued the following statement honoring the start of National Ag Week.

“This week especially, we highlight and recognize farmers and ranchers who work hard in North Dakota and across the nation to ensure we have the highest quality, lowest cost food supply in the world. Agriculture affects each person in this country, multiple times a day, and it’s vital our farmers and ranchers have the tools and support they need to succeed. Passing the 2018 Farm Bill was an important step forward and now we’re working to ensure it is implemented in the most farmer-friendly way.”
