Hoeven Presents Safe Kids Outstanding Lead Agency Awards to Sanford Children's Hospital, Altru Health Systems

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven this week presented the Safe Kids Outstanding Lead Agency award to both Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo and Altru Health Systems in Grand Forks in recognition of their continued support for children’s health in the Red River Valley and broad community outreach helping to prevent childhood injuries. 

“Safe Kids Grand Forks and Safe Kids Fargo/Moorhead work to provide services that positively impact the community and benefit the safety of children,” said Hoeven. “With over thirty countries represented at the luncheon this week, it was an honor to recognize and award the hard work of Sanford Children’s Hospital and Altru Health Systems. These North Dakota health care providers have worked in partnership with Safe Kids Worldwide to help keep kids in our state out of harm’s way.”
