Hoeven Nominates Four Students to U.S. Military Academies Class of 2027
BISMARCK, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven today announced that he has nominated four North Dakota students for appointments to the nation’s military academies. Hoeven nominated Jacob Boehm of Bismarck and Olivia Jones of Fargo to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Ayden Frohlich of Bismarck to the U.S. Naval Academy and Isabelle Von Osterheldt of Minot to the U.S. Air Force Academy.
“Our nation’s military academies offer exceptional education and leadership opportunities to students and we’re very proud to nominate these four outstanding students from North Dakota to serve our nation,” said Hoeven. “We know that Jacob, Olivia, Ayden and Isabelle will do a phenomenal job, and we wish them the best of luck.”
Students applying for military academies are required to receive a Congressional nomination as part of the application process. These students have now fulfilled that requirement and their names have been submitted to the respective academies. Each service academy admission board will determine final appointments.
