Hoeven: Howard Lutnick Confirmed as Commerce Secretary

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven issued the following statement after the Senate confirmed Howard Lutnick to serve as Secretary of Commerce:

“We congratulate Secretary Howard Lutnick on his confirmation. During the confirmation process, he committed to increase our nation’s competitiveness and bring supply chains back to the U.S. Secretary Lutnick will play a vital role as President Trump negotiates better trade agreements, with the goal of securing better trade terms for American farmers, ranchers and producers on a long term basis.
