Hoeven Honors Fargo-, Bismarck-Based Business Leaders For Earning Prestigious Awards
Warner and Company Insurance, City Air Mechanical, Inc. Honored by SBA
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven this week congratulated Brian Hayer, President and CEO of the Fargo-based Warner and Company Insurance, his sister Denise Magness, and niece Jessica Magness for being named the 2012 National Jeffrey Butland Family Owned Business of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
Denise serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company, and niece Jessica began working at Warner and Company Insurance in 2010, making her the third generation of Hayers to work with the family-owned business.
Hoeven also met this week with Heather Jones, President of Bismarck-based City Air Mechanical, Inc., to congratulate her on being named SBA’s 2012 North Dakota Small Business Person of the Year.
“Warner and Company Insurance and City Air Mechanical are both outstanding examples of the kind of dedication and hard work that grows a company and leads the way to future economic growth for our country,” said Hoeven.
Hayer, his family and Heather Jones accepted their awards during the SBA’s National Small Business Week events held in Washington, D.C. this week in conjunction with the annual observance of National Small Business Week. The SBA has hosted this annual conference since 1963 as a vehicle to recognize outstanding American entrepreneurs and small business owners.

It is fitting that Brian Hayer and his company has received national recognition for their excellence.”
