Hoeven: HHS Awards More Than $388,000 to NDSU for Alzheimer's Research
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, who serves on the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) National Institute on Aging has awarded $388,125 to North Dakota State University (NDSU). The funds will support research aimed at preventing and treating Alzheimer’s disease.
“Alzheimer’s affects thousands of North Dakotans and their families, and today’s grant will allow researchers at NDSU to work towards finding out how we can prevent and better treat this debilitating disease,” Hoeven said.
