Hoeven Helps Pass Resolution Recognizing the Benefits of 4-H Youth Development & Mentoring Programs
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven today announced that the U.S. Senate has unanimously passed a resolution recognizing and celebrating the benefits of the national 4-H program and its new initiative, “Grow True Leaders.” 4-H is the country’s largest youth development organization, working to empower young people to reach their full potential.
“One of the best parts of serving as a U.S. Senator is having the opportunity to meet so many of bright, hardworking young people from North Dakota,” Hoeven said. “It’s always inspiring to learn about their extracurricular activities, drive to succeed and plans for the future. One of the best ways to help prepare our young people to become the next generation of leaders is by encouraging programs that help them make a positive impact in their communities. As America’s largest youth development organization, 4-H does just that, and this resolution is a great way to showcase the lasting impacts that this program has had on countless young people.”
