Hoeven: FAA Awards $11 Million in Grants to North Dakota Airports
BISMARCK, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded more than $11 million to the following North Dakota airports for projects including runway, taxiway, terminal and lighting improvements, as well as upgrades to snow removal equipment and facilities:
- Jamestown Regional Airport- $7,007,500
- Minot International Airport - $980,000
- Ellendale Airport - $600,000
- Linton Municipal Airport - $528,093
- Kenmare Municipal Airport - $459,786
- Gwinner Municipal Airport - $448,000
- Mercer County Regional Airport - $300,000
- Standing Rock Airport - $300,000
- Barnes County Municipal Airport - $203,000
- International Peace Garden Airport - $185,000
- Watford City Airport - $72,000
- Wahpeton Airport - $35,000
“These grants will help improve our airports, and ensure they are safe and efficient for travelers now and into the future,” said Hoeven.
