Hoeven: DOT Releases Cares Act Funding for North Dakota Airports

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Committee, today issued the following statement after the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) released funding to 15 airports in North Dakota. The grants are part of airport funds provided under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Hoeven previously announced funding for North Dakota airports on April 14, and today DOT released the funding to the airports.

  • Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport in Dickinson – $1,092,969
  • Jamestown Regional Airport – $1,061,538
  • Bottineau Municipal Airport – $30,000
  • Harry Stern Airport in Wahpeton – $30,000
  • Hettinger Municipal Airport – $30,000
  • Hutson Field Airport in Grafton – $30,000
  • Kenmare Municipal Airport – $30,000
  • Robertson Field Airport in Langdon– $30,000
  • Cando Municipal Airport – $20,000
  • Ellendale Municipal Airport – $20,000
  • Garrison Municipal Airport – $20,000
  • Parshall-Hankins – $20,000
  • Rolla Municipal Airport – $20,000
  • Standing Rock Airport – $20,000
  • Walhalla Municipal Airport – $1,000

“We secured funding in the CARES Act to provide economic relief to airports as they face the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Hoeven.
