Hoeven Cosponsors Resolution on House's Closed Door Impeachment Process

WASHINGTON - Senator John Hoeven issued the following statement after cosponsoring a Senate resolution condemning the closed door impeachment proceedings in the House of Representatives: 

“I do not believe the president should be impeached, especially when the process lacks transparency and is conducted behind closed doors. This resolution urges the House of Representatives to respect precedent as well as provide the president with due process.”
