Hoeven Announcse Nearly $300K Grant for Biomedical Research at NDSU
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, who serves on the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, announced today that the National Institute of General Medical Science (NIGMS), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), has awarded $298,875 for pharmacological research at North Dakota State University (NDSU). The grant will support research into drug delivery systems through NDSU’s School of Pharmacy.
“Our research institutions are drivers of innovation, leading to economic growth and a higher quality of life,” Hoeven said. “This grant will help our researchers develop and test new technologies and medicines to tackle challenges in the health care industry and provide better care at a lower cost.”
