Hoeven Announces Nearly $3 Million in Head Start Funding for Turtle Mountain

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Administration for Children and Families’ Office of Head Start has awarded a $2,972,956 grant to the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. The funds will support Head Start programs in the Turtle Mountain community to help serve children and their families.

“Today’s funding is an investment in the Turtle Mountain community and will help support children and their families to ensure that children are healthy and well-prepared to continue learning,” Hoeven said.
