Hoeven Announces Nearly $3 Million Grant to UND's Rural Health Information Hub
BISMARCK, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded nearly $3 million to the Rural Health Information Hub (RHIhub), formerly known as the Rural Assistance Center, at the University of North Dakota. The funding will support the hub in providing access to information, tools and resources to assist rural health care providers from across the nation in meeting the needs of their communities.
“For nearly 20 years, the RHIhub has helped ensure better health outcomes for rural communities, supporting health care providers in identifying and addressing local needs, and this funding will sustain the hub’s important work,” said Hoeven.
