Hoeven Announces Nearly $2 Million in Federal Funding to Support Home Visiting Program

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, who serves on the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) has awarded a $1,960,193 grant to Prevent Child Abuse ND in Bismarck. The funds will be used to support the organization’s Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program. This program provides education and resources to help families identify their children’s needs and supports families’ overall well-being.

“Today’s funding will help families meet their goals in providing for their children,” Hoeven said. “Prevent Child Abuse ND provides a valuable service to our state in their support of families and children.”
