Hoeven Announces Nearly $1.1 Million Grant to Southeastern North Dakota Community Action Agency to Support Early Childhood Education and Wellness
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Administration for Children and Families’ Office of Head Start has awarded $1,076,128 to the Southeastern North Dakota Community Action Agency in Fargo. The agency serves Cass, Ransom, Richland, Sargent, Steele and Traill counties. The funds will help support Head Start and Early Head Start programs in these areas, helping to prepare children for school and provide families with additional resources to help their children grow and learn.
“Head Start funds play an important role in helping to prepare our kids to succeed in school,” said Hoeven. “These funds support a number of educational efforts and will also be used to help promote the health and well-being of children and their families.”
