Hoeven Announces Nearly $1 Million for Housing in Fargo
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded two grants totaling $973,596 to the City of Fargo. The awards are made available through HUD’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) programs. Details are as follows:
- CDBG – $637,010 – The funds will help provide quality housing for low- and moderate-income individuals.
- HOME – $336,586 – The funds will help expand the supply of quality, affordable housing for low- and very low-income families.
“Today’s HUD funds will help ensure that Fargo has a sufficient supply of quality, affordable housing to help provide housing for low-income individuals and families,” Hoeven said.
