Hoeven Announces More Than $407,000 for University of Mary for Advanced Nursing Education

WASHINGTON — Senator John Hoeven, who serves on the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Health Resources and Service Administration (HRSA) has awarded $407,249 to the University of Mary to support advanced nursing education.

“Our nurses provide an invaluable service to our state, and as North Dakota has grown, so has the need for more professional nurses,” Hoeven said. “Today’s award will help equip the University of Mary to provide advanced education to nurses, which will enable them give better and more comprehensive care.”
