Hoeven Announces More Than $3.3 Million Grant to Support Head Start in Minot Schools
WASHINGTON — Senator John Hoeven today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded a $3,391,762 grant to the Minot Public School District. The grant will be used to fund Head Start and Early Head Start projects.
“Education plays a critical role in developing our nation and securing our future,” Hoeven said. “With this grant, our young children in Minot will be better prepared to enter school and do well in their studies.”
Today’s HHS grant is made available through the Administration for Children and Families’ Office of Head Start. As a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, Hoeven has worked to provide funding for education.
