Hoeven Announces More Than $3.2 Million in Funding for Fargo & Dickinson Airports
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded $3,256,500 to Hector International Airport in Fargo and Dickinson Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport. Details of the awards are as follows:
- Hector International Airport – $2,812,809 – The funds will be used to reconstruct and rehabilitate taxiways at the airport.
- Dickinson Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport – $443,691 – The funds will be used to widen the airport’s taxiway.
“The airports in Fargo and Dickinson are vital to the continued economic success of these communities as well as to the eastern and western regions of our state,” said Hoeven. “Today’s funds are an important investment in the infrastructure at these airports and will ensure that they can continue to serve both commercial and general aviation.”
