Hoeven Announces More Than $1.7 Million in Head Start Funding

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded $1,722,785 to Housing, Industry, Training, Inc. (HIT) to continue supporting West River Head Start services in Mandan.

“This funding will help children in low-income households gain access to resources and services that will help prepare them to succeed in school,” said Hoeven.
