Hoeven Announces More Than $150,000 CDC Grant to Minot State University
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, who serves on the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities has awarded $155,703 to Minot State University to support efforts to streamline data entry and ensure patients receive needed follow-up heath care services.
“Duplicate data entry can cost both patients and healthcare providers time and money,” Hoeven said. “Today’s grant will help Minot State develop solutions to reduce duplicative data entry and streamline recommendations for follow-up services like screenings and early interventions.”
