Hoeven Announces Funding To Support Housing In North Dakota
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded nearly $28.3 million to housing authorities across North Dakota. The funds are allocated through HUD’s Indian Housing Block Grant and Public Housing Capital Fund Formula Grant programs.
“Housing is an important part in laying the groundwork for economic growth and success,” Hoeven said. “Today’s funding is an investment in communities throughout our state and will help ensure that individuals and families have access to quality, affordable housing.”

- Standing Rock Sioux Tribe – $5,462,453
- Three Affiliated Tribes of Fort Berthold – $5,298,582
- Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate – $3,592,335
- Spirit Lake Sioux Tribe – $2,919,395
Public Housing Capital Fund Formula Grant Funding
- Fargo Housing and Redevelopment Authority – $1,114,145
- Burleigh County Housing Authority – $627,399
- Minot Housing Authority – $527,823
- Housing Authority of Cass County – $245,489
- Housing Authority of the City of Williston – $203,556
- Ramsey County Housing Authority – $133,751
- Rolette County Housing Authority – $116,589
- Barnes County Housing Authority – $88,991
- Mercer County Housing Authority – $69,983
- Traill County Housing Authority – $55,145
