WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Administration for Community Living, has awarded $225,480 to the Spirit Lake Tribe. This grant will support expanded home and community-based services for those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
“This grant will support Spirit Lake’s efforts to care for individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, helping provide them and their families with a higher quality of life,” said Hoeven.
