BISMARCK, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), has awarded $1,072,968 to the North Dakota Hospital Foundation. Today’s funding, being administered via the Hospital Preparedness Program, was made available through the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2020 and will be used to help health care systems and professionals in the state continue to address the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
“Today’s funding will support North Dakota’s response to the coronavirus as the state’s health care systems and professionals continue caring for those impacted by the disease,” said Hoeven.
